Here’s some of the things I did with my half-hours over the past month:
- Learned how to use TypePad
- Read other email newsletters for ideas on topics and formatting
- Read Entrepreneur magazine online
- Wrote articles for my web site
- Made lists of people to interview for testimonials
- Made a Vision Board of all the things I want to see happen in my business
- Read Seth Godin’s blog, my favorite marketing blog.
- Composed and e-mailed invitations to my new web site (you probably got one).
How are you nurturing your business?

I’ve got so much done in those dedicated 30 minute sessions too:
1. Researched setting up a blog
2. Listened to audio recordings on setting up blogs
3. Researched shopping cart
4. Completed drafting a 7 day e- course
5. Tidied my office
6. Caught up on some of my reading
7. Wrote my marketing plan and brainstormed ideas
And that’s just for starters!
Sticking to just 30 minutes makes it achievable, fun and promotes creativity. It’s great if you can get into a routine of doing this regularly on your own but I love working with my buddy to discuss what we plan to do in that time. Having a buddy provides the added value of accountability, encouragement, support, and constructive feedback. Priceless!
